Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms govern your use of the Go Jogga mobile apps, companion watch apps, web dashboard and website. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Go Jogga you agree to these terms. When you sign up the app records which version of the terms, the Privacy Policy and the health acknowledgment you accepted. If we change them materially we may ask you to accept the new version. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
Your account
- You confirm your age at sign-up, and the service is not intended for anyone under 16.
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account from the app’s profile and settings. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
Beta
Go Jogga is currently in beta. Beta access is free, with every feature available and no billing, and is currently by invitation. Because it is a beta, features may change, be unavailable, or contain errors.
Subscription, trial and billing
- After the beta, Go Jogga is a single subscription with everything included; there is no feature-gated free tier. The current planned price is €3 per month, and the price is shown at the point of purchase.
- New subscribers get a 30-day free trial. The subscription converts to paid billing when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. We email you a reminder 3 days before the trial ends.
- On iOS and Android you subscribe through Apple’s or Google’s in-app purchase, under their terms. On the web you subscribe through our payment provider, Mollie.
- Your subscription status is the same wherever you paid, so a subscription bought in the app also applies on the web dashboard and the other way round.
- Cancellation and refund terms will be set out here before paid billing starts. Purchases made through Apple or Google are also subject to their own cancellation and refund rules.
Health and safety
Go Jogga provides training plans and guidance generated with the help of AI, and uses your heart-rate data and pain reports. It is not medical advice. Consult a physician before starting a new exercise program, and stop and seek medical help if you feel unwell or injured. You acknowledge this when you first set up your plan.
You run at your own risk. Follow traffic rules and local laws and stay aware of your surroundings; routes and turn-by-turn instructions are generated from map data that may be incomplete or out of date, and weather verdicts are forecasts. The live-sharing and emergency contact features are aids, not a guaranteed safety service: they depend on your phone’s GPS and network connection and on SMS delivery, and they are not a substitute for calling the emergency services.
Acceptable use
- Don’t misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation.
- Don’t overload the service, including through automated access.
- Only add emergency contacts who are happy to receive messages from the app, and only share live-run links with people you trust.
- Don’t use the service to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
Third-party services
Go Jogga can connect to Strava, Apple Health, Health Connect, and watch vendors such as Garmin, Polar, Coros and Suunto. These connections are optional, are governed by those services’ own terms, and can be disconnected at any time. We aren’t responsible for third-party services, including if they change or stop working.
Intellectual property
The service, including its software, design, text and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the apps for your own running. You keep ownership of your own data, and you give us the right to process it as needed to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Liability
The service is provided “as is” during the beta and afterwards, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the service or from running, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
Termination
You can stop using Go Jogga and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to protect the service or other users, and we may end the beta or change or discontinue features.
Changes to these terms
We will update the “Last updated” date when these terms change. Continued use after a change means you accept it; where the change is material we may ask you to accept it again.
